In a world where humans and aliens live together, some people are miners who venture into space to extract minerals. They make their living by doing so. To them, mining is an act of war. In order to fight against these people and their practices, a group of freedom fighters known as the Idle Men have formed an underground resistance movement. Their goal: to drive the miners out of space by fighting back with everything they’ve got. You play as one of these Independents and you must explore the abandoned mining stations in space around you in order to gather resources and discover information about the miners. You can then use this information to build a base from which you can launch attacks on the alien mining stations and reduce them to smithereens … or at least that’s what you’re told!
